About the Role
Disney Kids & Family is a unit of Disney Entertainment Television, overseeing development and production of content for kids, teens, and families across Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney Jr, and Disney XD.
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to one or more executives on the film and television team, working closely with production, creative, and finance partners. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and discreet professional comfortable navigating development, production, and post-production calendars.
What You'll Do
- Manage complex, ever-changing calendars for executives — meetings, table reads, screenings, production check-ins, and travel across time zones.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners, including studios, producers, talent representatives, and agencies.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for production-related trips.
- Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, memos, and presentations.
- Track department budgets, expense reports, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain production schedules, script drafts, and casting materials, ensuring version control and confidentiality.
- Coordinate logistics for development sessions, greenlight meetings, and pitch meetings.
- Assist with onboarding of new hires, vendors, and consultants.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role, ideally in film, television, or entertainment/media production.
- Familiarity with development and production processes for scripted and/or unscripted content strongly preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills managing multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
