Endoscopy Technician, Variable Shift, Full Time

About the Role

Adventist Health Glendale, a 515-bed hospital serving the San Fernando Valley, is hiring an Endoscopy Technician to work in the gastroenterology (GI) lab under the direction of registered nurses, assisting gastroenterologists with GI procedures and caring for adult and geriatric patients.

What You'll Do

• Assists physicians with GI procedures, endoscopy room set-up and cleaning, and specimen collection
• Maintains quality control of sterilization and terminal cleaning processes, including biological monitoring
• Cleans, tests, processes, and stores endoscopes and clinical equipment per policy
• Transports patients between departments and collaborates with RNs on direct patient care
• Inventories supplies and communicates needs to inventory clerks

Requirements

• High school education/GED or equivalent required
• Associate's/technical degree or GI Lab/OR experience preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
