About the role

Owns architecture for AI-powered frameworks and automation across DreamWorks' Studio pipeline and platforms — fully remote.

Design and own architecture for AI-powered frameworks and automation across the pipeline
Define ingestion, processing, and routing of operational telemetry
Prototype solutions for asset tagging, scene prep, render queue management, shot setup, and versioning
Evaluate and select AI frameworks and automation technologies for production
Build and maintain a library of reusable AI components
Drive adoption of tools across technical and creative departments

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years building production systems, including 2+ years building AI/ML systems
Expertise with containerization, orchestration, Python, TypeScript, React, and AI frameworks (LangGraph, Spring AI, MCP)
Deep understanding of LLM integration and tuning
Strong communication skills across artists, production, and engineering

Fully remote.

Salary range: $190,000–$230,000/yr. Company-sponsored benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k).
