Disney Consumer Products Public Relations Intern, Spring 2027

About the Role & Program

Disney Consumer Products (DCP) brings stories and characters to life through innovative physical products and digital experiences across more than one hundred categories — toys, t-shirts, plush, books, and more. As part of the DCP Communications team, you will work closely with partners across lines of business, franchises, functions, and locations.

As a DCP Intern, you will support the Consumer Products business across Disney’s brands including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and National Geographic.

Full-time, 6-month commitment, in-person in Glendale, CA, January 11 – June 4, 2027.

What You'll Do

On any given day you might:

• Help execute global integrated communications plans for major franchise initiatives and campaigns
• Research and report media trends; update press databases
• Draft, review, and proof press materials including press releases, pitches, and media alerts
• Provide overall support for a variety of DCP Communications goals and objectives
• Act as a Brand Ambassador and embody the Disney culture and values

Required Qualifications

• Previous reporting/writing/editing experience with a student or professional publication in print, television, or online media
• Proficiency with Associated Press writing style
• Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential information
• Strong proficiency in developing Keynote decks
• Ability to adapt, manage multiple priorities, and build strong working relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, or a closely related field
• At least 18 years of age; unrestricted work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in journalism, writing, media relations, or with a PR agency
• Experience identifying problems and developing creative solutions

Pay & Benefits

• Pay: $23.00/hr (Glendale, CA)
• Must provide own housing in Glendale, CA; reliable transportation required
