Deli Clerk

About the role

As a Deli Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market, you assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices and preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high-level customer service; ensure Deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate meat/cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales, and other deli equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy, temperature, and quality.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent; grocery, restaurant, or related experience preferred.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs.
• Able to stand for up to 4 hours continuously (8 hours per shift).
• Food Handlers permit required.
• Able to work in different temperature environments (cooler and freezer).

Pay & benefits
