Deli Clerk

About the role

Part-time Deli Clerk in the deli department at Albertsons/Vons/Pavilions. Prepares and serves deli products, assists customers at the counter, and maintains deli standards.

What you'll do

• Slice meats, cheeses, and other deli products to customer order
• Prepare deli salads, sandwiches, and ready-to-eat items
• Assist customers at the deli counter with friendly, knowledgeable service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli department
• Follow food safety and handling guidelines

Requirements

• Food handling experience preferred
• Customer service skills
• Ability to operate a meat slicer and other deli equipment (training provided)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
