Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the role

Property Managers work independently at multiple Public Storage locations in Glendale, splitting time between indoor customer service and outdoor property upkeep.

What you'll do

• Assess customer storage needs and recommend unit sizes and supplies
• Complete daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits
• Keep customers current with payments; make reminder and collection calls
• Drive between multiple work locations (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Perform cleaning and maintenance, including sweeping/mopping interiors and curb appeal

Physical requirements

• Lift/move items up to 35 lbs
• Up to 50% outdoor time; climb stairs; open large doors

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• Customer service background (retail, restaurant, fast food, or similar)
