CT Technologist Per Diem, Day Shift

About the role

Adventist Health Glendale is one of the area's leading healthcare providers — a 515-bed hospital serving the San Fernando Valley. This role operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images used to diagnose medical conditions, plus other imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

What you'll do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric age
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
• Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information per HIPAA requirements
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology — preferred
• ARRT registration: R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) — required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) license in California — required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
