About the role

This role operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images used to diagnose medical conditions, plus other imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
What you'll do
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients from adolescence through geriatric age
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information per HIPAA requirements
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology — preferred
- ARRT registration: R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R) — required
- Radiologic Tech (RT) license in California — required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
- Fluoroscopy license required in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment
