Crisis Evaluator – Psych Acute Adult

What you'll do

• Assesses patients in the emergency room and throughout the house when requested and ensures placement according to their age, identified problems and needs
• Acts within the guidelines of LPS Statutes and Patients' Rights
• Provides crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when needed
• Works within the multidisciplinary team and communicates effectively with physicians, nurses and staff

Qualifications

• Current valid license as a Registered Nurse, MFT, or LCSW issued by the State
• LPS certification preferred or needs to obtain prior to commencement of employment
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Minimum three (3) years experience in an Inpatient Psychiatric unit
• Assaultive Behavior Management training within 6 months of hire
• DMH certification required for 5150 detention

Pay & benefits

$180/hr
