About the role
NBCU's Filmmaker & Content Strategies team has an opportunity for a Coordinator to support the Executive Vice President. The team partners with filmmakers, producers and development executives to build upon the Studio's inclusive pool of breakout talent and support content creators across Universal Pictures, Focus Features and DreamWorks Animation.
In this role, you will act as a seamless extension of the EVP, Filmmaker & Content Strategies, ensuring the department's vision is executed at the highest standards — requiring attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines across global operations.
What you'll do
- General administrative — track delivery on action items from the EVP; process expense reports and invoices; take and disseminate meeting notes; maintain files.
- Calendar maintenance — manage a logistics-heavy complex schedule (including travel) and coordinate a high volume of meetings; research and compile prep material.
- Executive prep — coordinate logistics and prep materials for internal/external meetings, panels, and media interviews.
- Travel coordination — book domestic and international travel and build detailed itineraries.
- Presentation design — develop PowerPoint presentations and Canva elements.
- Event execution — organize timelines and logistics for offsites, panels, and screenings.
- Project coordination — support above-the-line talent initiatives, the Trend Breakers e-resource, and external partnerships (AFI, Sundance, etc.).
- Content support — review scripts, cuts, marketing materials, and casting breakdowns.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience assisting at the executive level or equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, OneNote, Canva) and FileMaker.
Nice to have
- Ability to anticipate needs and problem solve; strong time and project management skills.
- Basic understanding of the film development process.
- Knowledge of industry literary and talent agencies and management companies.
- Familiarity with emerging talent and trends from social media and influencers.
Schedule
Hybrid — currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
Pay & benefits
Salary range: $57,928–$66,456/yr.
