Job Summary

Under the supervision of an Ob-Gyn Physician, manages the medical care of patients throughout the maternity cycle — antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and gynecological periods.

What You'll Do

• Manage the care of women during labor and delivery under Ob-Gyn supervision
• Perform complete physical exams and obtain medical/obstetrical histories
• Order and interpret appropriate lab and diagnostic tests
• Evaluate fetal status via abdominal palpation, ultrasound, and fetal monitoring
• Independently conduct normal spontaneous vaginal deliveries; first-assist at C-sections and gynecological surgeries
• Perform immediate newborn care
