Cake Decorator

Overview

Costco Wholesale is seeking a part-time Cake Decorator to join the in-warehouse bakery team. This role combines artistic skill with food service to create beautiful, high-quality custom cakes for Costco members.

What You'll Do

• Decorate custom cakes, sheet cakes, and other baked goods to member specifications
• Assist members in selecting and customizing cake orders
• Maintain bakery cleanliness, food safety standards, and equipment
• Rotate baked goods inventory and stock bakery cases
• Support the overall bakery department operations as needed
• Follow all health codes and food handling procedures

Requirements

• Prior cake decorating or pastry experience preferred
• Artistic ability and attention to detail
• Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a kitchen environment
