Board Operator - Part Time
iHeartMedia is seeking a Part-Time Board Operator at our Burbank, CA market studio.
What You’ll Do
- Operate control board for studio and remote programming.
- Regulate program timing, operate syndicated programming, and play commercials.
- Monitor technical quality of incoming and outgoing on-air programming.
- Support off-air commercial production and programming automation.
- Protect station license by monitoring live broadcasts.
- Handle emergency inserts (news updates, breaking stories, alert tests).
- Screen incoming calls for On-Air Talent and talk shows.
- Monitor and update weather, traffic, and news in automation equipment.
What You’ll Need
- Flexible schedule availability including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
- Previous experience in broadcast or technical training.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
