Assistant Stylist

Overview

Ulta Beauty is seeking a part-time Assistant Stylist to join the in-store salon team. This entry-level salon role is ideal for a licensed cosmetologist looking to grow their skills and build a clientele in a supportive, high-energy environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist licensed stylists with hair services including blow-outs, styling, and color prep
• Perform basic hair services within the scope of licensure under stylist supervision
• Greet and consult with guests to understand their hair care needs
• Recommend and sell hair care retail products to enhance guest results
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment
• Learn and apply Ulta Beauty's salon service techniques and standards

Requirements

• Current cosmetology license required (or in process of obtaining)
• Passion for hair services and the beauty industry
• Strong guest communication and service skills
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Team player eager to develop technical skills

Compensation

• $18.00/hr
