About the Role
CSUN's Department of Marketing is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor to teach consumer behavior and integrated marketing communications courses, along with other foundational marketing classes as departmental needs require.
Responsibilities
- Teach marketing courses; maintain weekly office hours; attend faculty meetings
- Participate in student learning assessment and provide service to the department, college, and university
- May teach on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and/or online
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Marketing or Business/Management with a Marketing concentration from an AACSB-accredited institution by August 2027
- College or university-level teaching experience in consumer behavior, IMC, and foundational marketing courses
- Evidence of, or clear potential for, publishing consumer-behavior research in peer-reviewed journals
Timeline
Effective Fall 2027 (subject to budgetary approval). Priority consideration for applications received by June 30, 2026; position remains open until filled.
Pay
$130,000–$145,000/year, dependent upon qualifications
