Assistant Manager

Overview

Dollar Tree and Family Dollar are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations and lead a team of associates. This full-time role is ideal for someone with retail management experience who is ready to take the next step.

What You'll Do

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations
• Supervise, coach, and develop store associates
• Drive sales performance and ensure excellent customer service
• Maintain store standards including cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising
• Assist with inventory management, receiving, and loss prevention
• Step in as manager-in-charge when the Store Manager is absent

Requirements

• Prior retail management or supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework a plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Compensation

• $22.00–$22.75/hr
