About the Role

The Assistant Controller, Global Operations is a critical member of the management team, providing leadership and coordination across all financial activities supporting Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) global operations, quality, and supply chain.

What You'll Work On

• Financial Leadership & Strategy: Partner with Operations Controller and DVP organizations to drive achievement of financial objectives and ongoing improvements
• Planning / Forecasting: Coordinate and manage the CRM Operations financial calendar and workload delegation
• Capital & Inventory: Financial responsibility over CRM divisional inventory and capital
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, financial regulations, and corporate policies
• Team Leadership & Development: Hire, train, and develop a high-performing division operations finance team
• Coordinate development and presentation of annual Operating Plans, quarterly LBEs, and annual Organic Execution Model (OEM)
• Monthly variance analysis and communication of aggregate performance drivers
• Drive process improvements including adoption of AI tools into existing workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Working knowledge of accounting theory and GAAP
• 10+ years of management/supervisory experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills with excellent communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• US CPA
• Background in manufacturing/cost accounting

Pay & Benefits

Base Pay: $172,000–$344,000/year. Abbott offers free medical coverage in the Health Investment Plan (HIP), excellent retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and the Freedom 2 Save student debt program.
