About the Role
The WBD Global Archives collects, curates, and exhibits digital and physical assets created by WBD productions and business units. The Archivist inventories and catalogs collections, curates exhibitions, and supports marketing events for original productions, working with little supervision under the Manager/Director of Archives.
What You'll Do
- Process original production collections, including inventory and cataloging
- Execute exhibition and event planning (asset selection, packing, shipping, setup)
- Perform preservation tasks and identify conservation concerns
- Maintain Archive databases with the Data Services team
- Photograph, scan, digitize, and ingest assets into archive systems
- Train student interns and temporary staff
Requirements
- 2 years of experience processing special collections in a corporate, archive, or library environment
- Bachelor's or Master's in Archive Science, Museum Studies, or related field preferred
- Working knowledge of archival cataloging/descriptive and preservation standards
- Knowledge of film & television history and WBD original programming
