About the Role
Supports organizational compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body standards, including The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, and applicable State Departments of Health. Reports to the Director or Manager of Accreditation & Regulatory Compliance and supports continuous regulatory readiness through audits, tracer activities, mock surveys, and gap analyses.
What You'll Do
- Conducts regulatory audits, tracers, mock surveys, and compliance reviews; prepares departments for TJC, CMS, and State Department of Health surveys
- Supports command center operations during surveys and helps departments respond to surveyor requests
- Performs gap analyses, tracks and trends audit findings, and reports compliance indicators to leadership
- Collaborates with departments to develop and implement corrective action plans (CAPs)
- Coordinates survey logistics — scheduling, team assignments, and materials for surveyors and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Associate's/Technical degree or equivalent combination of education/experience — required
- 2 years of healthcare experience — required
- 3 years of healthcare compliance/regulatory experience and 2 years of project management — preferred
- Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or GE Change Management certification — required
