Artificial intelligence is changing the way students learn, and knowing how to use it responsibly is just as important as knowing how to use it at all. In this one-hour interactive workshop for middle and high school students, participants learn practical ways to use AI as a tool for learning, studying, brainstorming, and problem-solving while understanding academic honesty and critical thinking. Students will cover what AI is and isn't, how to write effective prompts, when AI is helpful for learning, how to avoid plagiarism and misuse, fact-checking AI-generated information, and responsible digital citizenship. The goal is to help students build ethical habits and stronger critical-thinking skills.
