Quilting for Community is a nonprofit fiber arts studio and fabric thrift store that teaches low-cost classes to build community and donate quilts as a symbol of hope. The Quilt Lab is the perfect class for beginners — design a quilt and learn to sew it on a machine. Finished quilts are donated to someone in hospice or a family shelter. Most participants complete their quilt in 3–5 sessions. All materials provided, no experience required. Ages 14+.
