Public Art: Tongva Mural

The North Hollywood Amelia Earhart Library invites the public to meet Ernie Merlan, founder of Muralism, and Matthew 'Xus' Dominguez, Art Lead and Cultural Consultant, as they share the story behind their large-scale Tongva mural. Titled 'We're Still Here After 10,000 Years,' it spans the back of Fire Station 60 near Chandler and Magnolia. Learn about the artistic process, the community collaboration, and the role of public art in honoring place, culture, and local stories. Free; no reservation or library card required.
