Learn to knit a lightweight, wearable top while building confidence with shaping, texture, stripes, and garment construction. Over four sessions, Vera Kuzikyan will guide you through the Lola Top, helping you build skills you can carry into future garment projects. Class Dates: October 17, October 31, November 14 & November 28 Time: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM Instructor: Vera Kuzikyan About the Class The Lola Top is a sleeveless, top-down cotton garment with a square neckline, wide shoulder straps, contrasting stripes, and a textured 1x2 broken-rib stitch pattern. Throughout the four sessions, you’ll learn to: Work a garment from the top down Knit pieces flat and join them in the round Work broken rib and stripes Check gauge and choose the appropriate size Pick up stitches and create shoulder straps Read and follow a garment pattern with confidence Vera will help you troubleshoot your work, answer questions, and keep you moving toward a finished top. Experience Level Experienced beginner to intermediate.
