Westside Council Hears LAHSA Not Getting $220M

A representative for the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority told the Westside Neighborhood Council at its June 11 meeting that LAHSA would not receive $220M.

The disclosure came from Gabrielle Markley, who appeared during the government reports section of the meeting.

The council also held a selection election the same evening, seating three new members to fill previously vacant seats.

Shannon Burns, Lindsay Shea, and Karriann Farrell Hinds were sworn in to fill Seats 14, 15, and 16.

Terri Tippit was elected chair and Lisa Morocco was elected vice chair, both passing 13-0.

The council approved $25.00 for a Go Daddy website, also passing 13-0.
