West Hills Council Exempts Military Absences From Rules

The West Hills Neighborhood Council voted to amend its standing rules to not count absences caused by military service against board members.
The vote was 10 yes and 1 no.
Carolyn Greenwood cast the lone no vote.
The amendment states that a board member's inability to be present because of military service obligations will not be considered an absence under the rules.
