Sunland-Tujunga Council Approves $2,000 for National Night Out

The Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council voted to give $2,000 to the Sunland-Tujunga Elks Lodge to sponsor National Night Out.

The vote passed 12 yes, 0 no, and 1 abstain at the June 10, 2026 general board meeting.

Board member Cindy Cleghorn made the motion and Cheryl Schmidt seconded it.

Board member Nina Royal abstained from the vote.

National Night Out is an annual community safety event that brings police and neighborhood residents together.
