Sunland-Tujunga Opposes McGroarty Street Development

The Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council voted 10-0 at its August 12, 2026 special meeting to submit an updated letter supporting an appeal against a proposed development at 8100-8160 McGroarty Street.

The appeal hearing is scheduled for August 27 at the City Planning Commission.

The minutes note that a board member described the proposed housing as a fire hazard.
