Sunland-Tujunga Makes CERT Training Voluntary

The Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council voted to make Community Emergency Response Team training voluntary for board members.

The council had previously required board members to complete the training.

The vote passed 12 to 0 at the September 9 meeting.

About 10 board members indicated they had already completed the training.

CERT refreshers are available, including virtual courses.
