Sunland-Tujunga Council Raises Animal Services Questions

The Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council discussed Animal Services concerns at its August 12, 2026 special general board meeting.

Anthony Espinoza, Senior Legislative Deputy for Los Angeles City Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez of Council District 7, addressed the board on the topic.

Topics included spay and neuter programs, shelter adoptions, wildfire preparedness for animals, and coyotes in the community.

Espinoza encouraged board members and residents to submit Community Impact Statements on upcoming animal-related motions.
