Studio City Swaps December Event for Art Walk

The Studio City Neighborhood Council voted 11 to 2 on August 26 to co-sponsor the Tujunga Village Art Walk on October 3.

The event runs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tujunga Avenue between Woodbridge Street and Moorpark Street.

The council approved spending no more than $1,500 on event posters, promotional postcards, and residential doorhangers.

The approval replaces a previously approved $1,500 sponsorship for the December Tujunga Village holiday event.

The Studio City Neighborhood Council will receive sponsor recognition and a complimentary outreach booth at the event.

Board members Kim Clements and Dimitri Gatsiounis voted no.

Merci Borden recused herself from the vote.
