Studio City Backs Ventura Boulevard Trolley Pilot

The Studio City Neighborhood Council voted 13-1 on August 26, 2026 to support pursuing funding for a two-year open-air trolley pilot on Ventura Boulevard.

The proposed route would connect the Universal City/Studio City Metro B Line station with the commercial corridor.

Potential funding sources listed in the motion include Measure M, LCTOP, and Prop C, along with a feasibility study.

The motion set a goal of launching the pilot before the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Kesara Borirak cast the lone no vote.
