Studio City Delays Vote on Giant Riverwalk Project

The Studio City Neighborhood Council board postponed a vote on opposing the Riverwalk at Studio City at its May 27, 2026 meeting.

The project is proposed for 12501 to 12665 Ventura Boulevard and requests an 84-foot waiver of development standards.

The proposed opposition motion asked the developer to reduce the building height to no more than 63 feet, prepare new traffic studies, and submit an environmental impact report.

The board voted 9-1 to postpone, directing the matter to a special Land Use Committee meeting and a special regular board meeting before a June 11 City Planning Commission hearing.

The project is filed under case CPC-2025-5697-DB-PR-SPPC-MCUP-VHCA and VTT-84453.
