Studio City Extends Conflict Rules to All Committees

The Studio City Neighborhood Council voted in August to extend its conflict-of-interest rules to cover all committee chairs and members.

The vote was 13 to 0.

The change amends Article III, Section 1, Paragraph K(6) of the council's operating procedures.

Before the amendment, the conflict rules applied to board members but did not explicitly cover committee leaders and members.

The minutes state the amendment was intended to prevent conflicts from affecting committee recommendations sent to the full board.
