Northridge West Pursues Driver Who Destroyed Horse Topiaries

A driver who destroyed the two horse topiaries on the Tampa median has been arrested, the minutes of the June 9, 2026 Northridge West Neighborhood Council meeting state.

The council voted 8-0 to form an ad hoc committee to pursue reclamation of public monies over $5,000 and possible prosecution of the responsible individual.

The committee is composed of Beautification and Public Safety Committee members and will work with the City Attorney, CD12, and LAPD.

Board members Janis Kraft, Kathleen Edwards, and Jeff Diamond will serve on the committee.
