Northridge West Flags Sober Home Criminal Investigation

A Northridge West stakeholder reported repeated noise from a sober living facility in his neighborhood at the board's May 12, 2026 meeting.

Ben Chiang said he reached out to the councilmember and assemblymember but there has been no resolution so far.

Board member Kathleen said a stakeholder discovered the owner of the sober living house is under investigation for a crime.

She suggested going to the City Attorney or the Attorney General to get some action.

Board member Jeff Diamond said the Public Safety Committee is on hold due to the issues surrounding the sober living homes.
