Northridge West Eyes $2,500 for Limekiln Canyon Brush Removal

The Northridge West Neighborhood Council discussed a possible grant of up to $2,500 from its Community Improvement Program fund to clear brush at Limekiln Canyon at its May 12, 2026 meeting.

No vote was taken at this meeting.

The minutes state that funds would need to be held in a Council File account set up by City Council District 12 for matching purposes.

A Rec and Parks Principal Forester is expected to conduct a site visit to lower Limekiln Canyon before the council votes.

The minutes note that the Beautification Committee will gather more details before the full board takes action.
