Northridge West Hears LAFD November Tax Plan

Battalion Chief Adrian Vasquez told the Northridge West Neighborhood Council that LAFD is pursuing a ballot measure to increase its staffing.

Vasquez reported at the June 9 meeting that there will be a measure on the November ballot for a ½ cent sales tax increase.

The minutes state the revenue would help fund LAFD so it can increase its staffing.

Vasquez delivered the update during the government reports section of the meeting.
