Northridge West Pursues Cost Recovery in Topiary Hit-and-Run

The Northridge West Neighborhood Council voted unanimously at its June 9 meeting to form an ad hoc committee to pursue recovery of more than $5,000 in damages from a hit-and-run that destroyed two horse topiaries and damaged the Tampa median.

The minutes state that the motorist responsible has been arrested.

The committee will work with the City Attorney, CD12, and the LAPD to pursue both cost recovery and possible prosecution, the minutes state.

Janis Kraft, Kathleen Edwards, and Jeff Diamond will serve on the committee.
