Encino NC Reapproves $2,600 After Fest Budget Hit

Encino Fest expenses pushed the Encino Neighborhood Council past its $5,000 monthly spending limit, requiring a special meeting to reapprove three purchases.

The council met on July 1, 2026 and voted on each item with a result of 12 yes, 0 no, and 5 absences.

The board approved up to $1,000 for wireless fast charging cellphone stands from Alibaba.

The board approved up to $1,500 for a branded pop-up tent and accessories from Amazon.

The board approved up to $100 for a new logo design.

The minutes note the council agreed to pay $30 for ownership of the logo.

All three items had been approved at both the May 27, 2026 and June 24, 2026 board meetings but could not be completed because of the spending cap.
