June 25, 2026 · Neighborhood Councils
Two Encino schools are set to receive 15 mph speed signs from the Los Angeles Department of Transportation.
LADOT identified Encino Charter and Lanai Elementary as the selected schools.
The signs should be up within the next month or so and before the next school year, the minutes state.
A no U-turn sign will be posted at Andasol and Ventura.
Vehicles exiting the Target parking lot will also be required to yield to pedestrians.
The update was reported at the May 27 Encino Neighborhood Council meeting by a representative of Councilmember Nithya Raman.
