Encino Council Tables Party House Criminal Charge Motion

The Encino Neighborhood Council tabled a motion to pursue criminal charges against the owner of a property at 4434 Grimes Place.

The property has been the subject of 17 LAPD calls since January 1, 2025.

The most recent event occurred on August 15, 2026 and drew eight patrol cars, a helicopter, and officers from the Vice Unit.

The motion had sought enforcement of Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 41.58.1 against the property owner, promoters, and others.

The council tabled the motion after receiving guidance from a deputy city attorney.
