Roy Nwaisser Elected Encino Neighborhood Council President

The Encino Neighborhood Council elected new officers at its July 22 meeting.

Roy Nwaisser was elected president with 13 yes votes, 1 no vote, and 3 abstentions.

Heather Michaels cast the lone no vote.

Pilar Defreest nominated Nwaisser for the position.

Jennifer Luce was elected vice president with 17 yes votes.

Pilar Defreest was elected treasurer by an 18 to 0 vote.

Shaindi Schwebel was elected secretary over Victoria Biddle by a 13 to 4 vote, with one member abstaining.

Kelvin Tolbert was elected sergeant at arms with 18 yes votes.
