June 26, 2026 · Neighborhood Councils
The Encino Neighborhood Council voted 13-0 at its June 8 special meeting to pay two emergency vendors for problems that arose during Encino Fest at Encino Park.
Neither the Encino Community Center nor LA Recreation and Parks had a key to the power box at the park, the minutes state, leaving the event without electricity for the sound system and stage.
The council approved $450 to AAA Rents and Events for emergency sound engineering services.
The council also approved $167.50 to O Lock Smith for emergency locksmith services to cut the bolt lock on the power box.
The two payments total $617.50.
