Encino Targets E-Scooter Parking With Bus Stop Message

The Encino Neighborhood Council approved a public service announcement about electric scooter and bicycle parking rules at its July 22 meeting.

The announcement will run on digital bus stop billboards in the area at no cost to the council.

The PSA will remind riders of proper riding and parking rules and tell the public how to report improperly parked devices, the minutes state.

The content will come from the LADOT E-Scooter FAQ and the PSA will say it is brought to the public by the Encino Neighborhood Council.

The motion first passed the council's Public Safety Committee 4-0 before the full board approved it on consent.
